Parliamentary Outdoor Cucaus | Dec 8, 2025
I joined colleagues at the Parliamentary Outdoor Caucus breakfast to discuss how we can support outdoor activities that matter to Canadians; whether it’s hunting, fishing, or spending time with family enjoying the fresh air.
These traditions strengthen communities and remind us why protecting access to our natural spaces is so important. Proud to keep advocating for these priorities in Parliament!

During Remembrance week, we brought our Legislative Assistant, Jenisa, to Essex so she could see the riding and meet the people, we serve!
On Saturday, the team did a mini tour – starting with decorating the Essex Constituency Office for the holidays. Lunch at Wolfhead Distillery & Restaurant. Wine tasting at Sanson Estate Winery. A visit with Santa at the Christmas Market at Mastronardi Estate Winery. A walk through Kingsville at the Fantasy of Lights Parade followed by a late dinner at Kingscoast Estate Winery.

It was great to sit down with the Canadian Housing and Renewal Association today to talk about practical solutions for affordable housing.
Strong communities start with safe, secure homes, and I’ll keep advocating for policies that make life more affordable for families in Essex and across Canada.
Thank you to CHRA for your leadership on this important issue!
Emergency Auto Debate | Dec 5, 2025
My Conservative colleagues and I held an emergency debate to confront the crisis in our auto industry, driven by harmful Liberal policies and tariffs.
Our message was clear: Windsor auto workers matter.
It’s time for the Liberal government to step up and start putting auto workers first.

As co-chair of the Conservative Auto Caucus, I was pleased to meet with Jeff Gray, President Unifor Local 222 in Oshawa, alongside my colleagues.
We had a productive discussion about our shared commitment to protecting auto workers’ rights and securing their jobs.
My Conservative colleagues and I will continue to stand for auto workers in Canada and will do everything we can to support and strengthen Canada’s auto industry.

Meeting with CAFC | Dec 4, 2025
As a former firefighter, I enjoyed meeting with the Canadian Association of Fire Chiefs to discuss the needs of local emergency services.
These brave men and women do an amazing job protecting our communities! Between fighting fires, rescue operations, and HazMat responses, it’s important to ensure departments across the country are properly equipped.
Debate on Canada’s Auto Sector | Dec 3, 2025
The auto industry in the Essex area and across Canada is under immense pressure from unrealistic EV mandates and harmful tariffs. These policies put the jobs of 24,000 auto workers in the Windsor-Essex area at risk. The Liberal government must prioritize Canadian auto workers and help attract investment into the sector and secure our future.

Meeting with CAPP | Dec 3, 2025
During these uncertain times in our economy, it is important to increase domestic projects that help Canadians prosper.
During my meeting with the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP) I learned that Canada’s LNG production is among the cleanest in the world, and that the Oil and Natural Gas projects like the Trans Mountain Pipeline contributes millions to Canada’s GDP every month.
Conversations like this help us understand how to invest in Canada the right way.

I had the honor of joining Pierre this morning for an early breakfast to discuss issues in Essex and Canada!
I appreciate his eagerness to listen to the issues facing my constituents, as well as our healthy dialogue to push forward fresh ideas to make life more affordable for Canadians.
Bill C-4 | Dec 2, 2025
Canada’s affordability crisis isn’t just statistics, it’s real Canadians who work hard and dream big, but are slowly losing hope because life keeps getting more expensive.
Enough is enough, Bill C-4 must go further and provide effective solutions to bring down the cost of living and put money in Canadians pockets.
Conservatives will keep fighting for affordability so that everyone can have the life they dream of, from coast to coat to coast.
Feed Ontario’s new Hunger Report | Dec 1, 2025
Food bank use in Ontario has reached historic levels:
• Over 1 million Ontarians relied on a food bank this year — 1 in 16 people.
• 8.7 million total food bank visits — 24,000 visits every day.
• Usage is up 87% since 2019–2020.
• In Central Ontario, visits are up 257%.
• Half of Ontario food banks say they’re struggling to keep up.
• One third may need to pause, reduce, or end services.
• Nearly 1 in 4 food bank users are employed, meaning a job is no longer enough to keep up with rising costs.
• The top reasons for visits: food costs (56%) and housing costs (27%).
• Essential expenses have risen faster than workers’ incomes since 2019.
These numbers reflect a growing affordability crisis. Canadians are doing everything right, yet can’t get ahead — even with full-time work.
Conservatives continue to press for practical steps to lower costs on families, including ending taxes and policies that increase the price of food, fuel, and housing.
