Remembrance Day in LaSalle | Nov 11, 2020

Today, in the Town of LaSalle and across Canada, we remember all those Canadians who fought and died for our freedom. It is always sobering to remember such sacrifices but it also leaves me with a deep sense of gratitude for those who gave their lives.

I encourage you to visit the LaSalle Cenotaph Park where there is a list of the 45 conflicts in which Canadian forces have been involved internationally.
At 11:00 am, every November 11th, the sun shines through the Cenotaph over a map of the globe listing those many conflicts in which Canadians have fought and died.

I was honoured to lay a wreath there in remembrance today.
