Helping Ontario Summer Camps | Jan 9, 2021
Every years kids camps around Canada impact so many lives for the better and they help create the leaders of tomorrow.
This week I had a wonderful Zoom call with Karen Seguin, Executive Director of Gesstwood Camp in Essex: a hidden gem in our area.
They help hundreds of kids every year have healthy, fun, and formative times away. However, I was told today, that as a result of current challenges many camps across Ontario are almost at the point of closure.
My office will be looking into ways we can help keep them open as kids will need these camps as we look towards regaining normalcy in the coming months and years.
