NDP Supporting Controversial C-10 Amendment | Apr 28, 2021

Bill C-10, An Act to amend the Broadcasting Act, and to make consequential amendments to other Acts is currently being debated and amended in the House Committee on Canadian Heritage.

Last Friday, the Liberals voted against the section of their own Bill that would have at least partially exempted individual users who upload videos to social media sites like YouTube and Facebook from CRTC regulation under the Bill.

The Liberals also promised to introduce a new amendment to regulate apps.
Bill C-10 is another unacceptable attempt by the Liberals to target the freedoms of individual internet users in Canada.

I would like to hear my constituents thoughts and opinions on this.
