Trudeau Liberals block investigation into Liberals subsidizing political operations

Ottawa, ON – Michael Barrett, Conservative Shadow Minister for Ethics, and Jacques Gourde, MP for Lévis—Lotbinière, issued the following statement on the Liberals blocking an Ethics Committee investigation over 95 per cent of Liberal MPs giving money to Data Sciences:
“Today, the Trudeau Liberals blocked an investigation into Liberal MPs using taxpayer dollars to subsidize their political operations.
“Canadians have seen this playbook from the Trudeau Liberals time and time again. They will go to great lengths to hide the truth from Canadians and cover up their corruption.
“Clearly, there is more to this scheme than the Trudeau Liberals are telling Canadians. Conservatives will continue to fight for Canadians and get answers to end the cover-up.
“Canadians can’t afford more cover-ups from the Trudeau Liberals. That’s why Canada’s Conservatives have a five-point plan that will end the corruption in Ottawa.
