Over that last months workers in Windsor-Essex have been laid-off and didn’t qualify for EI because they did not have enough hours after work stoppages occurred after imposed pandemic restrictions during the last few years. On top of that there is a major discrepancy between qualifying hours for those who live in Essex County and those who live in Windsor.
