This morning Marco Mendicino announced details of the mandatory purchase, or confiscation, of legally acquired firearms from law-abiding firearms retailers in Canada.
No one believes that going after hunters, and legitimate hunting rifles, will reduce violent crime across the country. This is part of the Liberal plan to distract and divide Canadians.
Instead of spending tens of millions of taxpayer dollars purchasing this inventory, that money could be invested into securing our border and in police efforts to combat violent crime.
Only a Poilievre Government can bring home real policies to keep repeat violent offenders in jail and keep Canadians safe.
