Meeting with Food Banks Canada | May 31, 2023
Thank you to June Muir, from the Unemployed Help Centre (UHC) in Windsor, with Food Banks Canada for a very important discussion.
Food bank usage across the country has been increasing. 1 in 5 Canadians are skipping meals and Justin Trudeau’s “grocery rebate” of $234 for a single adult will not cover the rising cost of food that his inflationary deficits helped cause.
Organizations like UHC are there for Canadians who are struggling to afford life’s necessities. UHC help connect people to the education, income tax filing, employment, and food they need. Thank you for all the work you do!
