Presenting a Petition | June 9, 2023
People in my riding of Essex might be interested to know I presented a petition today for a constituent, Kevin O’Neil.
This petition asked the CRA to reintroduce its waiver for cross border worker taxes until tax laws can be updated so cross border workers will not be unnecessarily taxed twice in the USA and in Canada. If changed it would benefit thousands of cross border workers here in Canada.
