Chairperson of the Auto Caucus | Jan 30, 2020
Yesterday, I was honoured to be elected Chairperson of the Auto Caucus.
This committee is tasked with ensuring that Government better understands the issues it faces to support our auto industry, while ensuring that Green initiatives are front of mind.
This appointment aligns perfectly with my role as Deputy Shadow Minister of Canada / US Relations and Southern Ontario Economical Development.
Also, retaining and attracting new investments, ultimately creating and protecting our auto workers jobs.
We have a fantastic group of knowledgeable committee members.
I am excited to get to work on this important file.
