What is the Canada Summer Jobs Program?
The Canada Summer Jobs (CSJ) Program provides opportunities for all youth between the ages of 15 and 30 to develop and improve their skills within the not-for-profit, small business, and public sectors. The program is also responsive to national and local priorities to improve access to the labour market for youth.
CSJ is a program of the Youth Employment and Skills Strategy (YESS), which is the Government of Canada’s commitment to help young people, particularly those facing barriers to employment gain the skills, work experience and abilities they need to successfully transition into the labour market.
