How much funding is provided to the CSJ Program?
As part of Budget 2019, the Government of Canada earmarked $263 million in funding for the Canada Summer Jobs program in 2020.
How many CSJ job placements will be created as a result of this funding?
ESDC recognizes that the labour market realities are evolving on a daily basis. We are continuing to target the creation of 70,000 youth jobs for this year for now, including stronger supports to help youth and employers who have been affected by COVID-19.
