The Parliamentary Budget Officer has released a report highlighting the extraordinary cost of Universal Basic Income (UBI) to Canadian taxpayers.
Not only would it have impacts on the Canadian economy but would affect Canada’s job market during a time of record unemployment. Simply put, this program will discourage work in Canada.
In contrast, Canada’s Conservatives are relentlessly focused on securing jobs, wages, and getting Canada’s economy and finances back on track as quickly as possible.
