Over 200,000 Jobs Lost In April | May 9, 2021
Last month, the job numbers are a massive letdown for more than 200,000 Canadians who lost their jobs as a result of the NDP’s support for Justin Trudeau and the Liberal agenda.
This means thousands of job losses in sectors like retail (-84,000); accommodation and food services (-59,000); and information, culture and recreation (-26,000), and very real consequences for Canadians.
In countries like the U.S. and the U.K., business are opening, restaurant patios are busy, and fans are returning to watch in-person sporting events.
Canada’s Conservatives will implement Canada’s Recovery Plan that will recover a million jobs in the sectors hit hardest by the pandemic.
