Bill C-10 Update: Conservatives, Alone, Oppose C-10’s Final Vote | June 22, 2021

The Good morning folks. I am up in Ottawa this week. I wanted to provide you with some updates in regards to Bill C-10. Thank you to the hundreds of you that have reached out to my office to express their opinion on this matter.

Late last night, Bill C-10 was adopted at 3rd reading in the House of Commons with the support of the NDP and Bloc.

The Liberals took extraordinary steps to gag MPs from defending freedom of speech and to ram through the bill without proper debate.

In a society that values freedom of speech and expression, Bill C-10 leaves the door open for a massive abuse of power on the rights of Canadians.

We called on Justin Trudeau to withdraw Bill C-10.

A Conservative government will stand up for Canadians and repeal this deeply flawed legislation.

While the NDP and the Bloc may look the other way on the freedom of expression, Canada’s Conservatives will not.

The voting results are below.

Chris Lewis MP - Essex
