Last night I had fun at the virtual Ruthven Apple Festival at Simpson Orchards with our apple peeling contest! Simpson Orchards have been growing apples for 100 years this year. Community Living, Essex County, celebrated their 60th anniversary and this was the 42nd Ruthven Apple Festival. We have some great history, businesses, and traditions in Essex County.

I had fun just attending this year since I could not compete for obvious reasons. Thank you also to all the dignitaries that showed their support for this event!! What a great night for the community!!
