I enjoyed reconnecting with an old friend, Scott Hill, and his colleague, Steve Wallace, this morning as we spoke about Play On! Canada.
Scott was from Kingsville and now resides close to London, Ontario.
He and Steve are heading up what they say is the biggest mass participation event in the world. It is happening right here in Canada, and right here in the Windsor-Essex region if they can get all the funding.
Today we spoke about what we can do to support them as they seek funding to organize the Play On Canada Street Hockey Tournament for the Spring of 2022. This event will help bring Canada back together and will encourage children, youth, and adults alike. It will also improve the mental health of many who take part and boost the inclusion of those who may find themselves on the edges of community life.
