April 1 Carbon Tax Hike | Feb 2, 2024
Conservatives have introduced a motion yesterday calling on the government to cancel their April 1 carbon tax hike which is increasing by 23% as part of his plan to quadruple the tax.
They acknowledged the pain they are inflicting on Canadians when they gave a temporary carveout to Atlantic Canadians last fall until after the next election.
Common sense conservatives will do everything we can to stop this carbon tax hike. We will also continue fighting to pass Bill C-234, to axe the tax on Canadian farmers to bring the cost of food down for all Canadians.
The next election will be a carbon tax election. Canadians will have to vote for an NDP Liberal coalition that intends to quadruple the carbon tax or a Pierre Poilievre-led Conservative Party that will axe the tax on everything for everyone.
