I’m absolutely honoured to have attended the “GPS Transmitter Bird Banding Project Launch” at Jack Miner Bird Sanctuary where once again, they are making history!

It all started with visionary, Jack Miner, a black mallard named Katie, and a piece of aluminum. This remarkable project is a joint venture with Jack Miner Bird Sanctuary, Dr. Love from the University of Windsor, and “50 Ducks”, that will enable passion for waterfowl conservation and tracking comprehensive data such as flight patterns, to reach new heights, improving scientific research, awareness and education.
