Non-Confidence Motion | Sep 25, 2024

Canadians deserve the chance to vote in a carbon tax election. Yet today, the Bloc and the NDP decided to keep Trudeau in power by voting against a Common Sense Conservative non-confidence motion.

By doing this, the NDP has pieced back together their costly coalition that Jagmeet Singh promised he was “tearing up” just a few weeks ago. Canadians understand that the only way the NDP can pull out of their coalition with Justin Trudeau is to trigger a carbon tax election. But Jagmeet Singh has told Canadians that they need to wait until he can claim his $2.3 million pension next year.
