Each year, I send an annual Calendar to each household and business in my riding of Essex as a thank you and a way to help constituents stay in touch with my office. This year, I would like your support in assisting me with my 2025 calendar.

I am hosting a calendar contest for students in Grades 3 to 6. I am looking for a total of 13 drawings—one for each month of the year plus one for the cover. The theme of the contest is “My Favorite Thing to Do” and I am requesting that the students submit seasonal drawings that could be used to depict certain months of the calendar.

The breakdown is as follows:
· Grade 3: January, February and March
· Grade 4: April. May and June
· Grade 5: July, August and September
· Grade 6: October, November and December

Please see the submission form to the right. All art should be submitted by mail (postage free) or by dropping off at my Essex Constituency Office, 35 Victoria Ave 7B Essex, ON N8M 1M4 by November 1st.

The artwork will be judged by a panel of local artists. The winners will have their drawing reproduced in the calendar and each winner will also receive a personalized, signed commemorative scroll, as well as, a gift from the House of Commons.

Just before the New Year, over 54,000 calendars will be delivered to each household in the Essex riding featuring the winning drawings. To ensure the safety and privacy of the students and their families, no identifying information will be used in the calendar.
