Saturday, February 22 marks Canada’s 5th Annual National Human Trafficking Awareness Day.
Human trafficking is a horrific form of modern slavery that strips individuals of their freedom, turning them into objects for profit and exploitation. This vicious crime is growing rapidly and is happening right here in our country—in our cities, towns, and communities.
Shockingly, the current Liberal government has made it easier for pimps and traffickers to operate, putting more vulnerable people at risk.
On this National Human Trafficking Awareness Day, let’s stand together to protect the vulnerable and ensure traffickers are brought to justice.
