According to Statistics Canada, police-reported violent crime remains significantly higher than it was a decade ago. In 2025, Canada recorded more than 600,000 violent crime incidents, compared to just over 382,000 in 2015. Firearm-related offences and extortion are also far higher than they were ten years ago.

This is not about politics. It is about families, seniors, business owners, places of worship, schools, and neighbourhoods that deserve to be safe.

Conservatives believe repeat violent offenders should face real consequences, bail should be fixed, victims should be put first, and law enforcement should have the tools needed to go after illegal guns, gangs, and organized crime.
