As a result of an answer to a well written question posed by Conservatives in the House of Commons, we learned that the Liberals knew the botched deal with the Chinese to manufacture the CanSino vaccine was dead just days after they initially announced it.
While the Liberals were betting all our chips on the Chinese vaccine last spring, our allies were signing deals with AstraZeneca, Moderna, and Pfizer. Canada wouldn’t sign deals with those companies until months later.
Conservatives will continue to fight for answers and for Canadians to get vaccines, because we need a smooth and steady vaccine rollout to get Canada working again and to secure our future.
