Mail-In Ballots. Yea or Nae? | May 10, 2021

After only four hours of debate, the Trudeau Liberals gave notice of time allocation for Bill C-19, An Act to amend the Canada Elections Act, which may trigger a vote in the House of Commons today.

Canadians do not want an election in a pandemic. Yet, the Liberals are focused on politics instead of the health and well-being of Canadians. They introduced Bill C-19, An Act to amend the Canada Elections Act (COVID-19 response), in December 2020, before the Standing Committee on Procedure and House Affairs (PROC) had even issued their recommendations after studying this matter.

If an election is held in a pandemic, it is essential to protect the workers, the voters, and our tried-and-true Canadian democratic process.

Would you favour mail-in ballots?
