Liberals Fail to Address the High Cost of Living | June 9, 2022
The NDP-Liberal coalition had the opportunity to support a Conservative motion to help Canadians with the cost-of-living crisis. Instead, they voted against providing Canadians relief at the pumps, they voted against ending federal COVID-19 restrictions to help the tourism sector, they voted against providing relief to farmers, and they voted against doing anything to address the housing affordability crisis.
This year, inflation will cost every Canadian an extra $2000. Justin Trudeau’s petulant politics and allergy to common-sense solutions are to thank for that.
I will continue to be the voice for Canadians that care about the cost of living. I will fight for Canadians to be able to feed their families and afford a home.
