The Border Still is not Getting the Urgent Attention it Warrants | Apr 21, 2021
During late night Emergency Debate in the House on Canada’s Covid response, I addressed Liberal MP, Mark Gerretsen, whose Kingston riding borders New York State.
I celebrated the success we have had in getting CBSA Staff vaccinated, and I asked him to call on the Minister of Public Safety to loosen the restrictions for the workers, experts and inspectors essential to our manufacturing and business.
Unfortunately, the Liberal MP representing a Canada-US border riding seemed totally unaware of this issue.
The Border still is not getting the urgent attention it warrants. I’ll keep advocating for these business owners and their workers every day, late into the night, at every opportunity. Our business owners, employees and their families deserve results.
