Conservatives support Canadians’ right to determine their own health choices | Aug 13, 2021
Today, the federal government announced mandatory vaccines for federal public servants, stopping short of any specific repercussions for those who are not vaccinated. The government is also encouraging federally regulated industries to introduce vaccine requirements and banning unvaccinated Canadians from travelling between provinces and territories using commercial transportation.
NDP Commitments | Aug 13, 2021
Yesterday, NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh announced his party’s commitments leading into an election. The 115-page document contains commitments from previous campaigns and has not yet been costed. For the last 6 years the NDP have sided with Trudeau’s Liberal government at every turn; propping up the Liberals in committees and reliably voting with Trudeau’s Liberal government in Parliament. The people of Essex will not be fooled. A vote for Jagmeet Singh and the NDP is a vote for Justin Trudeau.
Liberal Cover-up | Aug 13, 2021
The CPC have taken the necessary steps to challenge Justin Trudeau in court to end the cover-up of the Winnipeg Lab documents. We will not stand by while Justin Trudeau’s corrupt Liberal government undermines the supremacy of Parliament, and the right of Canadians to know the extent to which the federal government was partnering with scientists associated with the Chinese military. We will be getting down to the bottom of this and we will be releasing these documents within the first 100 days of forming government.
Vaccine passports to be introduced | Aug 12, 2021
Yesterday, the Liberals re-released a plan to introduce international vaccine passports by December 2021. Provinces and Territories may use these passports as local and regional vaccine passports for non-essential spaces such as gyms, restaurants, and bars.
I want to know your thoughts on this.
Rural Internet | Aug 10, 2021
My office has received almost 2000 inquiries about affordable and rural internet. I have met with many regarding this topic in the recent past.
This is a priority for the people and businesses in Essex and the Conservative Party.
A Conservative Government will connect all of Canada, including rural areas, to high-speed Internet by 2025.
Meeting with Local Mayors | Aug 9, 2021
I had a great meeting today with Mayor Larry Snively, and Deputy Mayor Richard Meloche.
We had a very informative discussion regarding the infrastructure requirements to fully grow Colchester and McGregor.
I appreciate the meeting, and the discussion about the work we can do going forward.
Racing is back in Leamington! | Aug 9, 2021
Great to catch up with Dave Epp CKL, MPP Rick Nicholls CKL, Mayor Hilda MacDonald of the Municipality of Leamington. Also, Mayor and Warden Gary McNamara and of course, Mayor Mayor Tom Bain of Municipality of Lakeshore. Thanks so much for the invitation!
To the fans of harness racing, your continued support made this happen!
(PS folks… I did bet! And Mayor Bain’s horse came in 2nd. I won 4 dollars!)
At the Airsoft field in Windsor Today | Aug 6, 2021
Justin Trudeau and Bill Blair want to take away this safe sport under Bill C-21. I, along with my Conservative colleagues, will always stand up for the Rights and Freedoms of legal firearm owners. This group and many others are not the problem. Illegal guns entering our country and gang violence must be addressed to curb the violence.
