Addressing the Windsor Regiment | Dec 22, 2022
I was invited to address the Windsor Regiment before the presentation of the Guidon by the Lieutenant-Governor of Ontario, The Honourable Elizabeth Dowdeswell, OC, OOnt the following day. It was an honour to join the serving officers and senior NCM’s and hear from the RCAC’s, Colonel Commandant, Gen Natynczuk CMM, MSC, CD former Chief of Defence Staff at this dinner. What a great evening and a great opportunity to show mine and Allison’s appreciation for our service personnel in our area. Thank you for your service!

I had the opportunity to meet Canada’s 2022 Summer Games Wrestling Gold Champion Sophia Bechard.
Three years ago, she set her mind on achieving this goal and she succeeded.

Thank you Art Windsor-Essex for your welcome and tour in December. It was very interesting to see the facilities that showcase works of art from the Windsor-Essex region. Thank you particularly to Jennifer Matotek, Executive Director, Thomas Boucher, Manager of Operations, Sophie Hinch, Education & Public Programs Co-ordinator and Phillip Olla and Claudius Thomas for organizing the tour. It was great to see how Art Windsor-Essex is making local art more accessible to people in our area who are from all kinds of different backgrounds. For those who are interested in creating your own art there is a room for that too! Well done Art Windsor-Essex!
Meals on Wheels in Essex | Dec 20, 2022
Today I met up with volunteers from the Community Support Centre of Essex County and the food service team that were preparing Meals on Wheels!
We got about 100 meals delivered today.
Happy to see many people out to support others.

What an amazing time and crowd at the Town of Essex Essex BIA Santa Claus Parade in Essex Centre this past weekend.
Congratulations to the new Santa’s Village & Market event as well. After the parade, I took a tour of the event, and I was amazed to see so many vendors and lots of happy faces!

This is a picture from the Airline Pilots Association (ALPA) reception with myself, Senator David Wells, and fellow MP, Stephanie Kusie, alongside pilots from Wasaya Airways, PAL Airlines and Calm Air.
It was an excellent reception and I appreciated meeting with ALPA President, Tim Perry. Now that I am on the Transport committee these are invaluable contacts to have.
