The Community Support Centre of Essex County and its Food Pantry is facing a surge in demand due to the current COVID-19 pandemic. Due to this increased demand, the CSC will be opening a county-based drive-thru food hub at their location (962 Old Tecumseh Rd.) on April 29th.

• Remove the requirement to have a business account to qualify for the Canada Emergency Business Account (CEBA)
• Expand the eligibility criteria for the CEBA to include revenue decline, so more small businesses qualify for the $40,000.
We know that local business owners are the backbone of Canada’s economy. That’s why we successfully reduced red tape and made it more affordable for businesses to hire more workers. The Liberal government has since renamed and expanded the benefit.

The Ontario Government is enabling students to complete the academic year by offering loan payment deferrals and financial support for institutions! If you have outstanding OSAP loan payments, they have been frozen until September 30, 2020 with no interest.
