Rose’s Kitchen | Jul 13, 2026

This week’s “Team Lewis Monday Lunch Out” was at Rose’s Kitchen, a local favourite! Located at 189 Talbot St South, in the plaza by Foodland, Rose’s Kitchen features an extensive breakfast menu, homecooked meals and fabulous desserts! We would agree!

We enjoyed the soup of the day, Chicken and Rice, with Greek salad and decadent rice pudding and lemon meringue pie for dessert. If you are looking for a good homecooked meal, you really should check out Rose’s Kitchen!

Cooper’s Landing | Jul 10, 2026

We have been celebrating the success and commitment to community of BK Cornerstone since I was elected. Brent and the BK Cornerstone Team continue to set standards and exceed expectations in the projects they build. Coopers Landing is no exception. This is Essex County’s first net zero ready neighbourhood. BK Cornerstone is working hard to provide incredible value at affordable prices. The name Cooper’s Landing, Brent Klundart explained has meaning. “A Landing is a place where you arrive, put down roots and thrive.” Congratulations on launching this project after many years of careful planning. I was pleased to join the celebration at today’s ribbon cutting!

Call with Pierre | Jul 9, 2026

Great to get an unexpected phone call from Pierre, today, checking in on Essex, as he is busy criss-crossing the country, meeting with Canadians in their communities.

I appreciate his words of encouragement for my team as we continue to serve the fine folks of Essex

Manufacturing matters in | Jul 9, 2026

When Canadian manufacturers are considering moving production to the United States, that should concern everyone — workers, families, small businesses, and communities like ours. Canada needs to be a place where businesses can build, hire, invest, and compete. That means lower costs, less red tape, faster approvals, reliable energy, and a serious plan to protect Canadian jobs.

I will continue to stand up for policies that make Canada stronger at home, support our local economy, and keep opportunity here in Windsor–Essex.

Funfest parade | Jul 4, 2026

After the storm, it was good to see the crowds line the streets at the Essex Funfest Parade!

You couldn’t help but feel the sense of community, the Canadian spirit and the celebration of summer!

Helping the community | Jul 4, 2026

As we stand in front of Windsor built cars, we continue to fight for auto workers and our community!

The Proctor family were bringing attention to the great demand on our local food banks and encouraging the community to support.

Time for a parade!! | Jul 1, 2026

Happy Canada Day! Team Lewis and Team Borrelli here at the Lakeshore Canada Day parade in beautiful Stoney Point! There’s still time to get here!

Happy Canada Day! | Jul 1, 2026

This day is a time to celebrate the country we are blessed to call home and to reflect on the freedoms, opportunities, and responsibilities that come with being Canadian. From Essex to communities across our great nation, Canada is built by hardworking families, volunteers, small businesses, farmers, veterans, first responders, and neighbours who care for one another. As we celebrate, let us also remember those who have served and sacrificed to protect the freedoms we enjoy. Wishing everyone across Essex a safe, joyful, and meaningful day.
