Non-Confidence Motion| Sep 25, 2024
Canadians deserve the chance to vote in a carbon tax election. Yet today, the Bloc and the NDP decided to keep Trudeau in power by voting against a Common Sense Conservative non-confidence motion.
By doing this, the NDP has pieced back together their costly coalition that Jagmeet Singh promised he was “tearing up” just a few weeks ago. Canadians understand that the only way the NDP can pull out of their coalition with Justin Trudeau is to trigger a carbon tax election. But Jagmeet Singh has told Canadians that they need to wait until he can claim his $2.3 million pension next year.

GPS Transmitter Bird Banding Project Launch | Sep 18, 2024
I’m absolutely honoured to have attended the “GPS Transmitter Bird Banding Project Launch” at Jack Miner Bird Sanctuary where once again, they are making history!
It all started with visionary, Jack Miner, a black mallard named Katie, and a piece of aluminum. This remarkable project is a joint venture with Jack Miner Bird Sanctuary, Dr. Love from the University of Windsor, and “50 Ducks”, that will enable passion for waterfowl conservation and tracking comprehensive data such as flight patterns, to reach new heights, improving scientific research, awareness and education.
Special shout out to Joe Vermuelen for his advocacy and strong voice for waterfowl conservation.
Coalition’s Second Carbon Tax | Sep 17, 2024
Coalition’s Second Carbon Tax Will Cost the Economy $9 Billion By 2030
Canadians discovered today that the second carbon tax will cost the Canadian economy $9 billion by 2030, after the Trudeau Government quietly provided a response to Conservative questions on the matter last night. According to a report from the Fraser Institute, the first carbon tax alone will cost the average Canadian worker $6,700 by 2030. The NDP must join with Common Sense Conservatives in calling for a carbon tax election so we can bring home powerful paycheques for all Canadians.

Annual Walk for Parkinson’s | Sep 8, 2024
It was a beautiful day for the annual Walk for Parkinson’s.
“Parkinson’s is a chronic, degenerative neurological disorder that affects more than 100 000 Canadians. Once thought to only affect the elderly, there is now a growing number of people under the age of 40 that are being diagnosed. There is also no known cause or cure at this time.
As an organization, the Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario is home for people living with Parkinson’s in Southwestern Ontario. Their purpose is to enhance the quality of life and care for people living with Parkinson’s in our communities. The proceeds raised by our amazing local communities during the walk go to supporting our local programs and services for people with Parkinson’s.
