NDP’s allow the Liberals to Thrive | Jan 29, 2025
Jagmeet Singh and the NDP continue to prop up Trudeau’s failing government, despite claiming they had “ripped up” their deal. After voting to support the Liberals 8 times this fall, it’s clear they are more interested in political survival than helping Canadians struggling with affordability. Only Common Sense Conservatives will put an end to this costly NDP-Liberal coalition and bring real solutions for hardworking families.
Battery Certificate Program Graduation at St Clair College | Jan 28, 2025
Sunday evening was a great celebration of the 2024 Battery Certificate Program Graduation at St Clair College.
I was honoured to celebrate the hard work and success of the graduates and to present congratulatory certificates on behalf of Andrew Dowie, MPP for Windsor-Tecumseh
This first-of its-kind program was developed in partnership with St Clair College, the Government of Canada, Province of Ontario, Employment Ontario and Unifor.
Congratulations students, staff and partners for the success of this new program! We look forward to seeing this “Made In Windsor” program, duplicated by other institutions across Ontario!
Community Calendar Contest | Jan 26, 2025
I was happy to celebrate the artists that were chosen to be featured in my First Annual Community Calendar Contest, with an Artist Award event at my Constituency Office this afternoon.
Students from grades 3-6 across Essex County were invited to submit their original 8.5×11 colour artwork for consideration. The theme for the 2025 Calendar was “Things I Like To Do”.
Ten of the featured artists attended the event, along with their guests. Each artist received a recognition certificate and a Parliamentary-themed gift. Their beautiful art is not only highlighted each month in the Community Calendar, the original art is also framed on a feature wall in my Essex Constituency Office, where they will remain for the calendar year.
“My office has received many compliments, from members of the community, on the talent of the artists and the creativity of the featured pictures. I was thrilled with the participation in the contest and encourage the students to continue using their God-given talents to bless and encourage others. This was the first and I look forward to even more students participating in the future.”
Thanks to the students, but also to the parents and teachers that encouraged participation and took time out to celebrate with me these, talented young people!

Canadians are Suffering because of the NDP-Liberals | Jan 23, 2025
Today, the Royal Bank of Canada released their Financial Flexibility Poll, which revealed that 55 percent of Canadians are “feeling paralyzed” after nine years of the NDP-Liberals inflationary spending and punishing taxes.
On top of this, 60 percent of Canadians worry that they don’t have enough money to cover unexpected expenses and 18 percent feel “they are already over the edge financially.”
Only Common Sense Conservatives will restore Canada’s promise by axing the tax and fixing the budget.

Justin Trudeau 2.0 | Jan 15, 2025
No matter who leads the Liberals or NDP, the agenda stays the same—higher taxes, soaring costs, and policies that make life harder for Canadians. Mark Carney might try to distance himself from Justin Trudeau, but let’s be real—he supported every Trudeau policy that caused this mess: inflation, carbon taxes, skyrocketing housing costs, and more.
Different face, same disastrous results. It’s time to end this costly coalition and choose leaders with common sense solutions to fix what they’ve broken.

The NDP-Liberal’s are growing Canadas Debt | Jan 14, 2025
9 years of the NDP-Liberal coalition, and look where we are—housing costs doubled, families paying $800 more for food, and 50% of Canadians are $200 away from not making ends meet. Inflation, debt, and job fears are through the roof. We can’t keep going like this. It’s time for common sense policies that actually help Canadians
The NDP-Liberal’s Continue to Hurt Canadians | Jan 10, 2025
The CD Howe Institute’s latest report reveals that the NDP-Liberal capital gains tax hike will:
-Cut 414,000 jobs
-Shrink Canada’s GDP by $90 billion
– Lower GDP per capita by 3%
This tax hike hits homebuilding, doctors, farmers, and small businesses – at a time when unemployment is already soaring. Canadians deserve better. It’s time for Common Sense Conservatives to step in, axe the tax, and restore opportunity for all.

Meeting with Single Seniors for Tax Fairness | Jan 9, 2025
Earlier this week, I met with Elizabeth Brown, Director of Single Seniors For Tax Fairness.
Elizabeth gave an informative presentation regarding tax concerns affecting single seniors and proposals to address these concerns.
As we prepare to form government, it is imperative that I hear about the issues affecting Canadians, along with the ideas about how to solve them!

Meeting with CSAAA | Jan 8, 2025
Although PM Trudeau prorogued government, my work continues.
An excellent meeting with Canadian Sporting Arms and Ammunition Association (CSAAA) to discuss the many failures of the Liberal/NDP Coalition that are harming law-abiding hunters and sport shooters.
Thank you CSAAA for your continued advocacy for our sport. I stand proudly with law abiding gun owners
Canadians Deserve Better | Jan 7, 2025
Canadians Deserve Better – We Need an Election Now
Justin Trudeau’s resignation changes nothing. By proroguing Parliament, he’s avoiding accountability and preventing a non-confidence vote that could bring much-needed change. This delay is unacceptable. Canadians deserve a chance to vote and end the destructive Liberal-NDP policies that have devastated our economy and made life less affordable.
While the Liberals hide for the next two months, we’ll keep fighting to ensure the NDP and Bloc keep their promises to hold this government accountable. It’s time for a carbon tax election to bring real leadership back to Canada.
Only Common Sense Conservatives can axe the tax, make life more affordable, and restore hope for Canadians.

Meeting with Second Harvest | Jan 6, 2025
It was a great meeting, this morning, with Lori from Second Harvest.
The focus on reducing food waste and rescuing food is a commendable goal. After 5 years, Second Harvest is reporting a 12% reduction in food waste. That is a great start but there is definitely more room to reduce!
Thank you Lori for the informative meeting and your recommended initiatives to take Canada even further in addressing both food waste and food insecurity!
