Starting the Parliamentary Day, each Wednesday, with our national anthem. This was the first of this fall session.
Hearing a colleague lead all Parliamentarians as they raise their voices in an acapella, O Canada, is moving. I am proud to be Canadian and honoured to represent the people of Essex in this House.

I was pleased to attend the Kingsville Fire Department’s 2025 Recruit Class Badge Pinning Ceremony and to celebrate the new recruits. Your commitment and service to community is appreciated and celebrated. It certainly doesn’t go unrecognized.
I am thankful to have served with my brothers and sisters of KFD.
Have a great school year! | Sep 8, 2026
Wishing all students, parents, teachers, school staff, and bus drivers across Essex a safe and successful first day back to school. As students return to classrooms, please take a little extra care on the roads. Watch for school buses, slow down in school zones, and keep an eye out for children walking or biking to school.
Thank you to everyone who helps make the school year safe, welcoming, and positive for our young people.
