Today, we celebrate the unwavering love, dedication, and guidance that fathers provide to their children. Your tireless efforts make a profound impact on the lives of your families and our communities. Thank you for being the role models, the providers, and the pillars of strength. Your love and support shape the future generation, and your commitment to your children’s well-being is truly commendable. May this day be filled with joy, laughter, and cherished moments with your loved ones. Wishing you a fantastic Father’s Day!
Honouring Fire Fighting Retirees | June 17, 2023
What an honour to be at the Awards and Retirement Banquet for retirees at the Amherstburg Fire Department tonight. These men have served their community faithfully over the years. It was an honour to celebrate them with others!
Thank you for your service.
Cut the taxes| June 12, 2023
The first carbon tax did not succeed in reducing emissions, and this second one will not either. The Liberals with NDP support have not hit a single climate target since they brought in their carbon tax.
Conservatives will axe these taxes and bring home affordability for Canadians. We will protect our environment through technology, not taxes.
Kicking off the Summer! | June 10, 2023
Kicked off the summer events with the great Town of LaSalle “Strawberry Festival” Parade! It was great to meet so many people along the parade route and even a few fur friends! If you haven’t gotten over to the Vollmer for strawberries and ice cream you should make some time to indulge! I hear this evening’s entertainment is the Autumn Kings, a fantastic hometown band that’s getting recognition on the world stage. If you’ve never heard them, this is a great opportunity to check them out!

Congratulations Town of Amherstburg, Libro Credit Union and
WEBC – Windsor Essex Bike Community for your team work to bring a new bike trail and skate park to the Libro Centre in Amherstburg!
Well done all for your efforts. Definitely worth coming to Amherstburg to try it out!
Strawberry Festival | June 9, 2023
Getting ready for the summer parade season and the first parade of the year! Stocked up on candy for the kids and treats for our fur friends along the way!
Looking forward to seeing you and the crowds at the Town of LaSalle “Strawberry Festival” Parade, tomorrow morning!
Safari Club International | June 7, 2023
It was a full house in my office this afternoon! Delegates with Safari Club International stopped by for a discussion about Canada’s proud hunting heritage and the future of hunting across our country.
Thank you all for your hard work and advocacy. I personally want to see my grandson join me out in the bush when he is older.
Building the Labour Force | June 7, 2023
Today I met with another company doing great work supporting our skilled trades folks and growing our labour force.
Enercare provides a variety of services to Canadians across the country, including heating, cooling, and water filtration. Thank you for the conversation and, more importantly, your investment into Canada.
Supporting Youth | June 7, 2023
Had an early start with Craig Brockwell of Support Ontario Youth (SOY), a charitable organization that provides practical support and mentoring for skilled trades across the board, from employers to apprentices. Did you know that over the next 3-8 years at least 500,000 skilled trades workers will be retiring?! That is a huge number and will leave a tremendous gap in the workforce. SOY is encouraging and promoting skilled trades as a very rewarding career choice in this vital field that is literally building Canada.
Annual Wild Game Party | June 5, 2023
This evening, the Conservative Hunting and Angling Caucus hosted the annual Conservative Wild Game Garden Party. I was pleased to share my own snow geese, duck and walleye for Andrew Rochon to work his magic in providing some incredible cuisine!
It was also an honour to have Essex County’s very own Wolfhead Distillery and Vin Winery featured at this event of the year!
