These numbers give a clear picture of the pressure many households are feeling right now. Conservatives would respond by lowering costs for farmers and producers, cutting federal taxes that add to food prices, and controlling government spending to ease inflation.

It was a productive meeting with Ashley Dedrick, a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) dedicated to the industry and the well-being of the people she treats.

RMTs, as licensed and regulated health professionals, are asking the government to recognize massage therapy as healthcare and remove GST/HST from those expenditures.

I had a very informative discussion with Dave Carey from the Canadian Coatings Association, an organization representing the companies that provide coatings used on cars, airplanes, pipelines, and much more. We discussed how excessive regulations from Environment and Climate Change Canada and Health Canada are pushing their members’ businesses to the U.S. This Liberal government’s unnecessary red tape is costing jobs in our communities and creating barriers that the coatings industry says simply don’t make sense. A common-sense Conservative solution?

Carney Stands in the Way of New Pipelines | Dec 10, 2025

The government signed an energy agreement saying a pipeline to Asia was a priority. Yesterday, the government voted against a motion that used the exact wording from that same agreement.

That contradiction is what concerns people. Conservatives believe Canada needs clear decisions and follow-through so projects get built, paycheques grow, and investment moves.

This was a fantastic evening meeting with the various organizations at the Great Lakes – St. Lawrence Day on the Hill Reception. Especially great to connect with Great Lakes Institute for Environmental Research (GLIER) from the University of Windsor and to discuss they great work they are doing in City of Windsor and LaSalle.

A bonus to see the cabernet from, none other than, Essex County’s North 42 Degrees Estate Winery as a feature wine!!

The auto industry in the Essex area and across Canada is under immense pressure from unrealistic EV mandates and harmful tariffs. These policies put the jobs of 24,000 auto workers in the Windsor-Essex area at risk. The Liberal government must prioritize Canadian auto workers and help attract investment into the sector and secure our future.

Meeting with CAPP | Dec 3, 2025

During these uncertain times in our economy, it is important to increase domestic projects that help Canadians prosper. During my meeting with the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP) I learned that Canada’s LNG production is among the cleanest in the world, and that the Oil and Natural Gas projects like the Trans Mountain Pipeline contributes millions to Canada’s GDP every month.

Conversations like this help us understand how to invest in Canada the right way.

Canada’s affordability crisis isn’t just statistics, it’s real Canadians who work hard and dream big, but are slowly losing hope because life keeps getting more expensive. Enough is enough, Bill C-4 must go further and provide effective solutions to bring down the cost of living and put money in Canadians pockets. Conservatives will keep fighting for affordability so that everyone can have the life they dream of, from coast to coat to coast.

Feed Ontario’s new Hunger Report | Dec 1, 2025

Food bank use in Ontario has reached historic levels. Over 1 million Ontarians relied on a food bank this year — that’s 1 in 16 people. Usage is up 87% since 2019–2020. In Central Ontario, visits are up 257% and half of Ontario food banks say they’re struggling to keep up.

These numbers reflect a growing affordability crisis. Canadians are doing everything right, yet can’t get ahead — even with full-time work. Conservatives continue to press for practical steps to lower costs on families, including ending taxes and policies that increase the price of food, fuel, and housing.
